Landis joined his parents to make the second generation to enter the field and the firm became known as C.M. Musselman & Son Funeral Home.
In 1936 the furniture store was discontinued and Musselman's became strictly a funeral home. In 1943, Landis died in an auto accident and his widow Ruth managed the funeral home until the end of WW II.

Landis and Ruth's sons David L. and Donald C. returned from the war and followed the family tradition. They continued in partnership as Musselman Funeral Home until David's death in 1982.

Donald's two sons, Brian C. and Dane C. joined their father bringing Musselman Funeral Home, Inc. into its fourth generation. Donald died in 1997 and Brian purchased his brother's interest in the firm the same year.
Brian and associate William G. Pegan continue to operate the family firm with the same progressive spirit of previous generations.
