Deborah F. McNaughton

Deborah Faye (Davis) McNaughton passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends, after an extended period of health challenges. Deborah (Debbie) was born in Western Pennsylvania and at a young age enjoyed the freedom of growing up in a rural farm setting. She loved the outdoors and spent countless hours exploring the woods with her siblings and friends. After high school she joined the workforce and held various jobs including customer service in a dealership parts department, bartender, and human services. She met her husband while working in human services and together they moved first to Lansdale in Montgomery County and later to Camp Hill, PA, being a resident of Camp Hill for 34 Years. Debbie was a friendly and amicable person with a quick wit and a compassion for giving and helping others in need. She had a knack for remembering people’s names and was easy to talk to, so made friends quickly, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her. Debbie looked forward to the family’s annual pilgrimages to Ocean City, New Jersey and Raystown Lake. She enjoyed all types of music but was particularly fond of Kenny G and his CDs accompanied her on these summer vacations. Deborah is survived by her husband David McNaughton, Camp Hill, PA, a daughter, Sarah (McNaughton) Trapp, and her husband Raymond (Brad) Trapp, of Camp Hill, PA, sisters, Diana Campese and husband, Frank of Midland, PA, Sheryl Monaco and husband Anthony of Midland, PA, Terri Shaffer, of Holiday, FL, and Diana Swallow and her husband, Ken of Holiday, FL, brother Jeff Shaffer and wife Justine, of Chippewa, PA, as well as numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is preceded in death by her mother, Delores Ditullio Shaffer of Midland, PA, and her Father Charles Richard Davis, East Liverpool, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Musselman Funeral Home, 324 Hummel Avenue, Lemoyne, PA 17043. A viewing is scheduled from 5pm-7pm on Friday September 8, 2023, with a service afterwards.
