Lois Bell Quigley

Lois Bell Quigley, 86, of Carlisle, PA formerly of Camp Hill, PA went home to her Lord and friend on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born on July 2nd, 1936, in Philadelphia of the late Robert and Florence (Linton) Bell and was the stepdaughter of the late Nellie (Hilliard) Bell. Lois was a graduate of Marysville High School, retired from Hall's Motor Transit Company and Pinnacle Health Systems. She was formerly employed at Dauphin Deposit Bank and Bell Telephone of PA. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle and former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. She worked on the Election Board for Hampden Township in Cumberland County for 20 years, 10 years as Judge of Elections. Lois was formerly active in Pinnacle Health Auxilliary, Hampden Civic Association, Cumberland Valley Band Boosters, CV Midget Football Program and Auxilliary. She enjoyed being with her family, especially with her grandchildren: Trevor, Chelsea, Emily, and Benjamin, sewing, beading, crocheting, and reading. She leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved husband, Ronald Quigley; her son, Thomas Quigley, and his wife Ann; her daughters, Kathy Brunie, and her husband Jeff; Kimberly Singel and her husband Matthew. Her grandchildren: Chelsea Brunie Gallagher and her husband, Kyle, Emily Brunie Gutierrez and her husband Riley and Benjamin Singel. Her sister, Eleanor Mutch, Sister-in-laws, Adeline Bell and Giovana Johansen and many very loved nieces, nephews, and dear cousins. Lois was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Alandar and her husband, Willis, her brothers Dennis Bell, Sr, and James Johansen. Her in-laws, Dale and Victory Quigley, Isabel Stansfield, Carter and Angeline "Dolly" Quigley, Frances Peck, and Fred and Dixie Sheely A Celebration of Life Service will be held at her church, First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21 South Bedford St Carlisle, PA 17103 on Tuesday, July 11th at 1pm. Family visitation after the service. Memorial contributions can be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Private family burial arrangements are by Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne.
