Tina Sue Grau

Tina Sue (Palese) Grau, 64, of Harrisburg, PA entered heaven peacefully on February 14th, 2024, surrounded by her family. Throughout her life, Tina brought nothing but joy and happiness to those she met. She was born on October 16, 1959, to Susan and Arthur Palese. The eldest of five siblings, Tina was both a loving daughter and a faithful sister. She met the love of her life, Dan, and was married on May 20th, 1978. Throughout their 46 years of marriage, Tina and Dan were rarely apart, finding peace and love and comfort in being together and being by each other’s sides. Tina was a homemaker, dedicating her life to raising her two children with love, and later, being a devoted grandmother to her two grandsons. Tina always put the Lord before anything else, and was dedicated to ensuring her family would walk with the Lord as well. Throughout her life, Tina had many passions and interests. She was a skilled cook and baker, she loved to travel and explore with her family, she enjoyed old movies and musicals, and she was a devoted friend to many. Tina would never hesitate to go out of her way or drop everything to help a friend or family member in times of need. Tina was also a dedicated member of her church, serving and volunteering in various capacities over the years. Later in life, her passion was her grandsons. She loved them dearly, and spent as much time with them as she could. As Tina went to her heavenly home, she is survived in life by many who love her: her husband Daniel Grau of Harrisburg; her parents Susan and Arthur Palese of Camp Hill; her daughter Mandy Schmitt (Grau) and her husband Stephen Schmitt, her grandsons Joseph and Judah Schmitt; and her son Justin Grau. She is also survived by her siblings Tammi Baker (Palese), Arthur Palese Jr, Philip Palese, Anthony Palese, their spouses, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tina will be remembered and loved greatly by all who knew her. The services to honor and celebrate Tina’s life will take place on Friday, February 23rd at Christ Community Church in Camp Hill, PA. A visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a service at 11am.
