Barry Lewis Starner

November 19, 1944 - February 13, 2021

Barry L. Starner, 76, passed away at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore, surrounded by his loving family, on February 13, 2021. He was born to Donald L. Starner and Mae Pearl (Kaltrider) Starner on November 19, 1944 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Barry will be remembered by his fellow Freemasons of the Robert Burns Lodge, a member for 43 years. He also retired from Steelton-Highspire Railroad after over 36 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, Barry particularly enjoyed hunting. He also frequently played tennis with his wife, Marjorie, and could often be found woodworking and building furniture. Barry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie A. Starner, sons Christopher L. Starner, wife Jennifer, and Joshua L. Starner, wife Angie, brother Alan Starner, sister Donna Bownaze, and grandchildren Erin Starner, Benjamin Starner, and Cameron Starner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
