Benjamin F. Moats

October 3, 1931 - June 25, 2018

Benjamin F. Moats, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on Mon, June 25, 2018. He was born on October 3, 1931 in Fayette Co, PA to Mary Clark Moats and Henry Moats. Mr. Moats served in the Army during and after the Korean War. He retired from the U S Postal Service after several years of employment. He loved to garden in our yard and was an avid fisherman. There was also a small stamp collection. Mr. Moats had served as a Commander of a VFW many years ago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dr. Moo Kyung Shin who he met while on his second tour of duty in Korea. He is survived by a daughter Susan Zindler (Craig) of Harrisburg and Sharon Sattazahn (James) of Fredericksburg, PA. Son Richard Moats of New Cumberland and David Moats of Titusville, Fl. He has three granddaughters, Leslie, Michelle and Valerie. One step-granddaughter Maura and a step-grandson Brian. There is one great grandson Mason who made him very happy this past Christmas. Visitation will be held at the Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at the Rolling Green Cemetery.
