Grace Chambers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Grace Chambers 77, of Camp Hill passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Holy Spirit Hospital. Grace was born on June 9, 1937 in Calhoun, West Virginia; a daughter of the late Homer F. and Velma (Johnson) Sidwell. Grace was very active in the Camp Hill Fire Company. Grace was the first woman to serve with the fire and ambulance crew for the fire company. She loved fishing, being creative, the great outdoors and old style county music. Grace also served as a Cumberland Co. Constable. She was a loving mother and her family was the center of her world. She named her oldest son after our late President Ronald W. Reagan 40th. Grace was the widow of Richard A. Chambers who passed on April 28, 2015. Surviving are her sons, Ronald A. and his wife Deborah G. Chambers of McAlisterville, PA., Arjay A. Chambers of Camp Hill, a brother, Francis "Buck" Sidwell of Brook Park, OH., a Grandson, Joshua A. Chambers, Great granddaughter, Alexandria Eberts and a Nephew and several Nieces. In addition to her parents and husband; Grace is predeceased by a brother Robert Sidwell and step father Robert Wicker. A memorial service to celebrate Graces' Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Camp Hill Fire Company.
