Janet L. Preble, 79, of Wormleysburg, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 surrounded by family at home. She was born in Reading to the late Beatrice (Keefer) and Charles Bowman. Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, where she served on many committees over the years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George O. Preble; two daughters, Sharon L. Rudy (Michael) of Camp Hill and Lisa A. Ford (David Kosier) of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, William (Nancy) and Kenneth (Billie) Bowman; six grandchildren, Ryan Candioto, Nicole (Nathan) Myers, Brett, Alissa, Morgan and Erin Ford; and three great grandchildren, Dylan Candioto, Kelsie and Madison Myers, with another Myers on the way. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church, Camp Hill. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with burial at Rolling Green Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church Music Program, 2000 Chestnut Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
