Jean H. Fedor

Jean H. Fedor, 88, of Wilkes Barre, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 04, 2017 at Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born in Dunmore, PA on September 5, 1929. She was a retired nurse’s aid and a member of Saint Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes Barre. She loved shopping and looked forward to her weekly hair appointments. She enjoyed life and was the Matriarch of her family, whom she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by a son, John Fedor, a daughter-in-law, Ruth Fedor, and siblings Patricia Major and Stephen Malis. She is survived by her children, Michael Fedor, Susan Stefanowicz and her husband, Joseph, and Joseph Fedor, grandchildren, Jason, James and his wife, Kali, Kyle, Cody, Michael, Megan and Makayla Fedor, two great grandchildren, Jordan and Alek Fedor and a sister, Geraldine Mecca. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Services will be at the discretion of the family to be announced at a later date.
