Mildred C. Rhodes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mildred C. Rhodes, 87, passed peacefully with her family by her side on May 2, 2022. She was born on January 30, 1935, to Mary R. Coulson in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. After graduating High School, Mildred attended business school and worked as an executive secretary to the president of Millers Insurance Company, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She also served as a member and officer of the Harrisburg Business and Women’s Club, and served as a member and committee chairman of the Pinnacle Health Auxiliary. Mildred enjoyed golfing, having shot a hole-in-one, figure skating, bowling, and gardening. She also traveled frequently, experiencing Mt. St. Helens after the eruption, travelled through 46 states and the providences of Canada as well as New Zealand, exploring Europe, and visiting the Antarctic and Arctic. Mildred is preceded in death by her mother, her husband Charles H. Rhodes, as well as her brother Dale E. Coulson and brother-in-law Robert D. Oyler. She is survived by her sister Arlene Oyler, and sister-in-law Nancy Coulson. A viewing will be held on May 12, 2022, at 10:00AM at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, followed by a service at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery directly after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the AMES Fund, The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, The Robert D.
