Mildred M. Tyson 96 of Messiah Village passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born on May 10, 1921 in Didsbury, Alberta Canada and was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mary (Good) Traub. Mildred graduated from Didsbury High School, Mountainview Bible College, of Didsbury, Cascade College, Portland, OR. She taught English at the University of Washington in Seattle, Towson State, MD., Messiah College, and HACC. She retired as a claims investigative agent under the office of Inspector General for the Commonwealth of PA. She was a member of Grantham Church. She was the widow of the late Charles F. Tyson. Surviving are her sons, Stanley A. ( Wife Mary Ann) of Hong Kong, George A. ( Wife Lori) of Enola, grandchildren, Megan ( Carl) Wolf, Jeffrey ( Ruth) Tyson, Janelle and (Billy) Fenyes, great grandchildren James and Jenna Tyson, and Billy Fenyes. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Messiah Village Chapel. Burial will follow beside her husband at Stone Church Cemetery Enola, PA.
