April 3, 1949 - February 4, 2018
Timothy R. Arnold, 68, of Camp Hill, passed away in his home surrounded by family on Sunday, February 4, 2018. A son of Janet and the late William Arnold, he was born on April 3, 1949 in Lemoyne. He graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1967 and Penn State in 1997. As a Veteran of the Navy, he was most recently employed at the Carlisle Barracks. His true devotion was to his faith and his church, Grace United Methodist Church, where he was a member for over 50 years. During his many active years there, he formed and was a member of the octet, Harmonies Grace, as singing was his first passion. His other passions involved woodworking, fixing anything he could, and was a professional do-it-yourselfer. He was also an active member of the West Shore Lions Club for many years. He had the gift of speech and talked to anyone who would lend an ear, and always knew someone wherever he went. He was a very loving husband, son, father and grandfather, who especially adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy, his children; Timothy, Wendy, Scott and Carriann, and their spouses, his brother; Douglas, and 10 grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM with a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his church at 309 Herman Avenue, Lemoyne, PA 17043 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
