Payment Policy

Musselman Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. has established a uniform payment policy.

A payment of half the TOTAL (or estimated total) MUST BE PAID at the time of the arrangements. The remaining amount will then be due within 30 days. If there is an overage, it will be returned to you once the final bill is completed. If it was underestimated, you will be required to pay that difference.

We will offer a 5% discount on our SERVICE  package if the total bill is paid IN FULL with CASH OR CHECK ONLY at time of arrangements.

Our Contract Policy “TERMS” is net due 30 days. A charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) for unpaid balances will be charged after the due date.

***Musselman Funeral Home reserves the right to amend this policy at its discretion.

***All out of state payment MUST be paid in full with a credit card or cash only.

The following are acceptable payment arrangements

  • Cash
  • Checks are subject to electronic funds verification. Third party checks and out of state checks are not acceptable.
  • Money Orders
  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  • Assignable Insurance, for the face value of the policy only, once the assignability and beneficiary have been verified by the insurance company. Policies under two years old are generally contestable, and will not be accepted. Services will not be scheduled until such time as the insurance policy is verified, accepted, and assigned to Musselman Funeral Home. Cash advance items must be paid prior to service as they will not be included in amount paid by insurance proceeds.
